About

A First Responder Who Understands the Weight You Carry

I’m Carly Ring, a Registered Psychotherapist based in Ottawa, Ontario, and before I began supporting first responders through therapy, I was one.

As a former Primary Care Paramedic, I’ve experienced firsthand the operational stress, trauma, and emotional toll that public safety professionals often face. That journey is what led me here, to create a safe, supportive space where people who dedicate their lives to helping others can finally prioritize their own mental health.

Why CSR Psychotherapy Professional Corporation?

The name reflects what I care about most, Connection, Support, and Resilience. It’s not about fixing you. It’s about walking alongside you as you rebuild trust in yourself and others.

Whether you’re dealing with PTSD, anxiety, depression, or simply navigating life’s transitions, this is a space where you can feel heard, validated, and respected.

I believe therapy should feel grounded, honest, and empowering.

I don’t just offer professional expertise, I offer understanding rooted in lived experience. Whether you’re proactively seeking support or feeling overwhelmed after years on the job, our work together will be focused on building trust, safety, and tools that actually work for you.

Who I Work With

Offering virtual therapy to adults with a focus on:

  • First responders (paramedics, police, fire)
  • Military personnel
  • Healthcare workers and public safety professionals
  • Adult family members of those in high-stress roles

My services are trauma-informed, inclusive, and available through secure virtual sessions. I also help guide clients through WSIB, VAC, and RCMP coverage pathways where needed.
